Common name

Description

Rhizome thin, erect. Fronds monomorphic, herbaceous. Stipe strawcoloured-blackish. Lamina 2-pinnatifid, ovate-lanceolate in outline, 80 x 30 cm, basal pinnae slightly or not reduced; pinnae sessile, pinnatifid, middle pinnae 15-20 x 3 cm, lanceolate in outline, apex tapering, first upper basal lobe more developed than the next one, lobed; segments entire; rhachis square, smooth; undersurface glandular, set with grey, straight hairs; veins 8-11 pairs, (united below the sinus?). Sori small, round; indusium not glandular, set with stiff hairs.
